Luxembourg, which is also known as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a small country located in Western Europe. Luxembourg is landlocked by its borders with Germany, France, and Belgium. It is a relatively small country, yet has a population which is quickly approaching half a million.
The government of Luxembourg is ran through a constitutional monarchy and a democracy with parliament representatives. The monarchy is controlled by the Grand Duke. Luxembourg is the last known surviving sovereign Grand Duchy in the world.
The Gross Domestic Product of Luxembourg ranks second in the world. Its economy is highly developed. It retains membership in most of the key political and international affiliations, including NATO, the European Union, and the United Nations.
